WHAT IS YOUR SERVICE AREA?

We are located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Our standard service area includes any location within a 30 minute radius from Bowling Green. We will travel outside of our primary service area, but an additional fee applies for each site visit/consultation to account for travel time. We also offer online design services for those outside of our service area with our E-design platform, which allows us to provide in-depth design services to anywhere in the U.S. excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN AN INTERIOR DESIGNER AND A DECORATOR?

Both designers and decorators offer valuable services, but the terms are mistakenly used interchangeably. Decorators focus on the aesthetics, such as colors, decor, and other finishing touches. Designers play a more integral role in the overall process as they can prepare construction documents, manage projects, advise on materials and finishes, and many, like myself, are rendering artists. Interior design is a science, and I take pride in employing the use of evidence-based design. I have a BS in Interior Design from Western Kentucky University, which gives me a competitive edge with industry-leading professionals in my area.

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

As a full-service design firm, we offer a multitude of unique services for both residential and commercial clients. We will work with your builder from the programming phase all the way to the final construction phase in order to ensure the best finishes, fixtures, and equipment are selected for maximum safety, function, and aesthetic. In addition to this, we offer a five-step traditional design service in which we aid in room makeovers, furnishings, exterior design, or any home improvement project you wish to take on. For those who just need a little direction, we offer consulting sessions, concierge shopping services, a la carte design assistance, and visualization services such as 3D renderings. Clients outside of our service area and DIY'ers alike often choose one of our e-design packages, which is a virtual design service we have exclusively offered since 2015.

HOW LONG DOES THE DESIGN PROCESS TAKE?

Most interior design projects take anywhere from 3 to 8 months to complete depending on the size and the contractor's timelines, in addition to other factors. Because domestically built custom furnishings are made-to-order, items can potentially take anywhere from 4-12 weeks to arrive. Depending on your project's scope of work and the timeliness of your decision-making, one room can take anywhere from 20 hours to 60 hours to complete. Your feedback is vital in assuring the project moves forward in a punctual manner.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN WORKING WITH A DESIGNER?

You should expect to fully put your trust into another person. Trust and communication are the foundation on which a successful design project is built. The designer will choose finishes, fixtures, appliances, and furnishings. During this process, you will have the final say on each decision made...we are here to use our expertise to help you make educated final decisions. In doing so, the designer will offer multiple visualization options to you per your request, such as design boards, 2D renderings, 3D renderings, and physical finish samples. An interior designer will save you time, money, and simplify your life by preventing you from making costly design mistakes.

WHAT ABOUT CONTRACTORS?

We have long standing relationships with industry-leading professionals who we trust. We’ve got high standards when it comes to delivering the best results for our clients, so we strongly advise that you use our preferred contractors. However, the technical hiring is the responsibility of the client, not the designer. It is important to note that we can not guarantee top-notch results with contractors outside of our list.
